Link Authentic - Administrator Guide
Authentic is an identity management solution (an Identity Provider) designed for identity federation and Single Sign-On in conformity with Liberty Alliance norms and standards(ID-FF 1.2 and ID-WSF). It uses the Lasso library which is certified by the Liberty Alliance consortium. Lasso and Authentic are released under the terms of the GNU/GPL license and are both used to provide Services and Identities Federation in this Project.

LibertyAuthPlugin is Zope PAS Liberty Authentication plugin allowing to authenticate users via Liberty SSO system. Its Liberty compliance relies on Lasso, a free (GNU GPL) implementation of the Liberty Alliance specifications. This Plug-in have been developed to integrate Plone in an e-Learning SOA for this project.

Here is a very early draft release of the Liberty Alliance plug-in for Elgg: http://elgg.net/elggcoding/files/5209 This plug-in relies on lasso-php library (http://lasso.entrouvert.org/) from Entr'ouvert. It has been used to demonstrate identity federation provided by the European project GEARS during the last ePortfolio plugfest in October 2006 in Oxford (http://www.eife-l.org/news/ep2006).
